Life Upward is here to encourage and help you in your life’s journey. We’re all on this journey called ‘life’ with various paths and roads we travel on at different times that can bring us happiness and fulfillment, as well as sorrow and difficulties.

I’ve experienced sorrow and difficulty and wrote, “Wings to Fly: Life From Among the Ashes,” about just such a time in my life. This was a very difficult path I had to walk through when our 2 month old son died of SIDS. Even though I thought life was over at that moment, God showed me as I walked through the darkness and despair, He was with me, and that there was much more of life to experience, and good things to enjoy. Life and hope arose from those ashes!
